How to Join
To become a member of the Southern Arizona Region you must be a member of the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA). JASNA members who live in Southern Arizona are automatically invited to join in our activities and events; we do not charge Regional dues.
JASNA membership benefits include:
-
The opportunity to join the Southern Arizona Region, which hosts book discussions, lectures, and other local activities. (JASNA members may join one or more of the Society's 70+ regional groups in the United States and Canada.)
-
A subscription to the Society’s newsletter, JASNA News, which is published three times a year.
-
JASNA’s annual journal Persuasions, a preeminent source for Austen studies containing essays on Jane Austen’s writing and her world.
-
An invitation to attend the JASNA Annual General Meeting, a three-day Austen-themed conference featuring speakers, special events, entertainment, and a banquet and Regency ball. The conference is held each autumn in a different North American city.
- An invitation to participate in JASNA-sponsored tours to England, which offer special access to Austen sites.
